What is Preventive Dentistry?
Preventive dentistry isn't just a buzzword; it's a proactive approach to maintaining your oral health. By regularly scheduling check-ups and embracing preventive strategies, you're investing in the longevity and vitality of your teeth and gums. This approach can save you from unnecessary discomfort, time-consuming treatments, and unexpected expenses down the line.

How often do I need to get my teeth cleaned?
Most people need to visit the dentist every 6 months for regular cleanings and checkups to maintain their oral health. However, those with periodontal (gum) disease and other oral health conditions may need to schedule more frequent cleanings and checkups, as often as every 3-4 months.
During your initial consultation with Dr. Laura, she will make recommendations for how often you need to come in for your preventive appointments based on your unique needs.
